Ruth Smith

Ruth was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Robert Smith. Loving mother to Brian Smith; Alistair Smith (Kelly); and the late Joy Matevoussian. Cherished grandmother of Maia Smith, Mac Smith, Tegan Smith, Samantha Smith, Sean Smith; Lillian Matevoussian, Gregory Matevoussian, and Evan Matevoussian. Dear sister to Mary Nesbitt. Ruth will be loved and remembered by many extended family and friends. Friends and relatives will be received at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and main entrance on Highway 400 side of building), on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Bibles for Missions would be appreciated by the family.
